Bethesda, MD May 23, 2007 – Cyon Research Corporation today announced
that its ninth annual COFES – the Congress on the Future of Engineering
Software – will be held April 10-13, 2008 at the Scottsdale Plaza
Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona. The annual gathering brings together the
community of engineering software vendors, developers, resellers,
analysts, and users for private and public discussion in a relaxed and
informal – but intense – atmosphere.
COFES has focused on creating an environment where the strength of our
community takes precedence over our individual needs to sell, and where
we can openly discuss the important issues facing our business.
“Each year at COFES we adjust what we do to move the community forward.
For COFES 2008 we will focus on the conversations begun during COFES
2007 that continue on the COFES website,” says Cyon Research CEO and
COFES co-founder Brad Holtz. “We’ve laid the foundation for our
community to continue the discussions year-round. In keeping with this
vision, we’re restructuring the congresses for COFES 2008 to facilitate
convergence within the community.”
Cyon Research welcomes all past attendees to continue the dialogue
through open-ended discussion groups, analyst briefings, and colloquia,
at COFES 2008. COFES is an invitation-only event. For more information
on the forum, and how to obtain an invitation, please visit
