COFES2003 Intensifies Agenda, Evolves Focus For Users and Vendors
Bethesda, MD, January 3, 2003 -- Cyon Research Corporation has launched its redesigned Web site (www.cofes.com) in time for early registration for this landmark event. New for 2003: A focus on the business issues of users and vendors. Like the first three, the fourth COFES continues its successful format as a relaxed venue for intense discussion and debate between engineering software industry executives, analysts, and users who have the power to influence the industry's direction. The agenda has been refined to pinpoint the business, hardware, and software issues that affect manufacturers, architects, engineers, plant, and mapping companies. Not a trade show, COFES2003 is an opportunity to explore the "big picture" and build consensus on what has to happen for engineering software to succeed?and for its users and vendors to prosper. Leading industry analysts have always participated in COFES. This year, they will help us focus on key business factors for users and vendors. "COFES is a phenomenon and a success story?a place where all involved can take a moment to forget the day-to-day work demands and concentrate on strategies for the industry, for their organizations, and for themselves," said Dr. Joel Orr, VP and Chief Visionary, Cyon Research Corporation. "The agenda has been carefully tuned to current industry issues, with a focus on practical solutions." User participation in COFES2003 is by invitation only. Invited attendees senior executives from user, vendor, and analyst companies, plus members of the international press. Appropriate representatives who have not yet received an invitation can request one via the COFES2003 Web site, or by contacting Cyon Research directly. At previous events, more than 80% of attendees have been top management, from user, vendor, analyst and press organizations. Early registration is now open at www.cofes.com and closes at the end of January. Pre-registration runs from the close of early registration until the end of March. Registration closes May 8.
